Our Congregational Vision is to:
Become a more joyful, passionate,
spiritually vibrant, intergenerational community of friends
who are intentionally engaged in growing in faith,
committed to serving our community and the world,
and centered on transforming lives through the Good News of Jesus Christ.

In this Body of Christ – ALL are INVITED to JOIN us on a TRANSFORMATIVE JOURNEY.

We follow Jesus in this faith community. Inspired by his example of welcoming everyone, we welcome you – your whole being.

We welcome your whole HEART (don’t leave it at home),
your whole MIND (don’t check it at the door),
and your whole BODY (we are, after all, Christ’s hands and feet).

This pursuit of transformative and wholistic ministry is woven into our DNA from the very beginning.

Presbyterians have worshiped together in Oxford since 1818. Presbyterians were instrumental in the founding of Miami University. A number of the early university presidents and faculty members were Presbyterian ministers. In 1966, two streams of the Presbyterian Church united to form the present Oxford Presbyterian Church (OPC), a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

OPC shares the historic Presbyterian commitments to joyous worship, faith formation for children, youth, university students, and adults, a representative form of governing, local and global mission outreach, and ecumenical and interfaith partnership.

We are an active and engaged congregation located on the corner of Church and Main Streets at the heart of Oxford. One block to the East on Church Street our second facility, the Seminary Building, is a center for fellowship, faith formation, and community outreach.
