Hands on Missions
Mission and Outreach is proud to put our faith into action with monthly Hands on Missions. Around the third Saturday of every month Mission and Outreach will host a local or regional mission outing to help our local/regional mission partners. Please see the tentative schedule below along with blogs covering how we help at these locations.
JANUARY
Clean out your closets and
give the joy of a warm coat. Donations may be dropped
off in the Narthex throughout the month of January.

FEBRUARY
Volunteer to help sort donated
items and keep materials out
of the landfill. Registration is required. Look for information found in
The Voice.
MARCH
“Bringing hope to those in need.”-
Tim Mettley, CEO. Donated items will be collected in the Narthex prior to
the date. We will assist them with whatever need they have at the time of our event. Registration is required.
APRIL
Volunteer to hand out trees uptown during Oxford’s Earthfest or volunteer at the table during the Fresh Air Fair. Lots of activities planned for this weekend! Always need help tearing down the OPC Rummage sale
at the Seminary from 1-2.
MAY
Volunteer with Sharefest. Register in the link below to help. Drivers and lifters needed to pick up donations from on-campus students.

AUGUST
Summer Asynchronous 5K! Walk at your convenience. Be a sponsor and have others support your walk or donate any amount you wish to TOPSS to help their summer lunch program for Talawanda Students in need.

Mission activity cancelled
due to OPC Learning Journey
to Ft. Ancient.
SEPTEMBER
Volunteer for this regional mission event that will take place in Hamilton, OH as we help clean up the Great Miami River. Registration is required.
OCTOBER
Serving together to raise awareness and bring change to the lives of
those affected by food insecurities.
Join OPC in the Seminary Building
to assemble food packages
that will be sent around the world.
Registration is required.
NOVEMBER

Names will be selected from the Giving Tree to help a family during
the Christmas season. Monetary donations will be accepted to
provide to TOPSS to help those
in our community.
